About

Welcome to the Uptown Charlotte Republican Women!

The Uptown Charlotte Republican Women (UCRW) was created in 2019 to allow busy working professional conservative women a chance to network with fellow conservative women in a casual, happy hour setting. No drama, no fuss, no agenda. Just likeminded conservatives gathering to enjoy a cocktail, enjoy a bite and to talk with one another before getting back to our households!

Our mission is to promote Republican values with conservative women in a fun and casual happy hour setting throughout the Uptown Charlotte area. Our group is proud to partner with the Mecklenburg County Republican Party and the North Carolina Federation of Republican Women. We are a chartered and recognized member of the National Federation of Republican Women since June 2020! Dues are $25 for members and associate members. This is the cheapest Federated Club you can join in North Carolina! Click on the join page to become a member!

The group meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 6-8pm at rotating locations around Uptown, Dilworth, Elizabeth, NoDa, Plaza Midwood, Cotswold and near light rail stops. Be sure and check here to find out where the next month's event will be!

The UCRW holds its annual meeting on the 2nd Wednesday of each January, where we elect new leadership. If you would like to serve in leadership or on our social committee, please contact us!

Uptown Women are Servant Leaders in our Backyard

Part of our goal as a club is to provide servant leadership in our Uptown community. Our club is coordinating a Supply Drive for our neighbors living in tent cities. Please bring your donated supplies to our February 10 social from 6-8pm at Protagonist Southside Brewery. If you want to donate sooner or at a later date, feel free to message our club for drop off locations with one of our board members. We will be collecting supplies until March 6, where we will distribute the supplies after the MeckGOP County Convention.

We were excited to host our second virtual happy hour meeting, "Girl Power", on May 13. We were honored to hear from ALL of our Republican women running for office in Mecklenburg County this November and get updates on how they are proceeding with their races during this new normal!
